Meditek cushion buying guide
HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE:
1. Find your surgical table.
2. Locate the product number based on your preferences.
3. Send your product number(s) to your sales rep
or to accounts@meditek.ca to receive a quote.
All cushions come standard with perineal cut out.
Contact us if you require without the perineal cutout.
STANDARD CUSHION
Includes stitched seams
Comprised of a supportive robust urethane
foam with a Lectrolite covering.
Recommended for shorter surgical cases and for
patients who are at low risk for developing ulcers.
Electrically conductive.
Sewn seams use a needle and thread to connect our
covers, similar to what you would see on a piece of clothing.
SOF-CARE CUSHION
Includes welded seams
Designed to offer superior pressure management
that protects patients in three ways:
• Top memory foam layer of cushion
conforms to the patients anatomy.
• Middle layer transfers the pressure from bony prominences.
• Denser bottom layer prevents bottoming out.
These premium cushions come with a 4-way stretch
anti-sheer fusion cover that is electrically conductive.
Our welded seams are done by using ultrasonic welding
technology to fuse the cover material together, creating a
strong, fluid-proof connection between the cover materials.
