CEILING LIGHTS
In order to ensure a correct and prompt delivery of ceiling light
orders, we need the room height details. The room heights
are mandatory for the ceiling tube lengths, as well as for the
light type. If the room height details are given too late or are
changed, a delivery delay can be expected. If room heights are
changed a fee will apply.
Please state the ceiling heights in your order as follows:
RH: Fixation height from floor to lower edge of concrete ceiling
RH–FC: Room height from finished floor to bottom edge of
intermediate ceiling
Please note that a ceiling height of 2.80 m results in a
maximum clearance height of approximately 1.90 m. This
applies to the following models: Mach LED 6MC/MC (BASIC),
Mach LED 8MC and Mach LED 300.
Thus for ceiling heights below 2.80 m, we do not provide the
full cardanic suspension, but by default an adjusted ceiling
suspension for a low room height, the central spring arm.

Difference between “central spring arm”
and “full cardanic suspension”
The full cardanic suspension of the spring arm has a flexible
vertical output and the luminaire body has two quarter
bends which allows a optimal position and rotation of the
lamp. The central spring arm has a horizontal output and
the luminaire body has only one quarter bend. Due to this
lower design, the clearance is maintained below the lamp
body but the mobility is slightly limited by the elimination
of a plane of rotation.
For certain interventions (e.g. surgeon operates while
seated, gynecology) a fully cardanic suspension can be
used. Please contact us and we will create a drawing with
the appropriate dimensions.
Mounting in laminar flow ceiling
In case of a laminar flow ceiling please state the height of
the laminar flow ceiling (HL ) at the flange tube and the
dimensions of the opening (BA = width of the opening,
HA = height of the opening) at the upper side of the ceiling.

NOTES FOR YOUR ORDER
DR. MACH LIGHTS
Our products are complete light systems. You will receive your light including the ceiling, wall
or mobile fixation. The ceiling fixation includes a canopy (or cover plate in case of a false ceiling).
Please note, that for ceiling models a ceiling anchorage ring is mandatory.
POWER SUPPLIES
1.
All lights operate with low voltage (range from 24 V DC to 28 V DC). If the light shall be connected to
120 V / 230 V AC, it is absolutely necessary to order a DC power supply specified by Dr. Mach.
2.
The lights Mach LED 120, Mach LED 130 and Mach LED 150 are generally delivered including power
supply.
3.
All mobile lights are delivered including power supply.
4.
For all wall and ceiling models of lights Mach LED 300, Mach LED 6MC/ MC (BASIC) and Mach LED
8MC the power supply must be ordered separately (if necessary). The power supplies are listed under
the heading “Accessories external power supply”.
5.
The LED lights are supplied with 24V DC up to 28V DC, with a fluctuation < 5 %; a lagged initial
voltage (soft start) and a current limitation when turning on is not allowed.
6.
An external transformer housing is required for tube lengths up to 250 mm on the standard axis and
flange tubes with diameter 70mm.
Power supplies for examination lights:
The power supplies are installed at the ceiling flange, inside the wall bracket or inside the handle of the
stand tube (at Mach LED 120, Mach LED 130 and Mach LED 150).
Power supplies for operating lights:
The power supplies are used along with the LED OT-lights (Mach LED 300, Mach LED 6MC/MC (BASIC)
and Mach LED 8MC) can be installed either on the ceiling flange or inside a transformer housing in the
sub-distribution. The wall model Mach LED 300 can be ordered with a power supply built into the wall
bracket.
SAFETY DOWELS
Dowels are not included in the scope of supply. Please ask a structural engineer for the proper dowels
according to the configuration of the wall or ceiling.
LIGHTING & TECHNICAL DATA
The light data and technical data of the lights are subject to certain fluctuations so some values may
slightly differ from the values mentioned in the catalogues and user manuals.
SPARE PARTS
To ensure the correct delivery of spare parts we always need the serial number(SN) and the reference
(REF) of the respective product. Without the serial number it might not be possible for us to supply
you with the demanded spare parts. For lamps, which are older than 10 years there may be limited
availability of spare parts.
